Samaritan’s Purse: Operation Christmas Child

Each year the Church of the Good Shepherd participates in Operation Christmas Child – a project to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children, their family and their community.

By filling ordinary shoe boxes with toys and fun items, churches in more than 100 nations assemble Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes shipping them throughout the world to hand out at festive outreach events where the Gospel is presented in a child friendly way. Many shoebox recipients also participate in a 12-lesson follow up discipleship program, the Greatest Journey.
